Data Privacy Statement for the Google +1 button
Data collection and distribution:
The Google +1 button enables the user to share information world-wide.
By using the Google +1 button the user will be provided with personalized
content from Google and our partners. Google stores the information
that the user clicked on a +1 button as well as the information on which
site the user clicked on it.
The users clicks on the +1 button can be used to show messages with the users
name and picture in google services like Google Search results or the users
Google profile or on different sites on the web or within ads on other
websites.
Googles stores data about the users +1 activities to enhance their services
for this user and others. To use the Google +1 button the user needs a world-wide
visible and public Google profile which includes at least the name of
the users profile. This name will be used in all Google services.
In some cases this name can be replaced with other names that the user is
using to share content with its Google account.
The indentity of the users Google profile may be revealed to other users who know
the users email address or other informations that relate to it.
Usage of the stored data:
In addition to the above mentioned usage cases may the provided data
be used within the current data protection regulations of Google.
Google may publish summarized statistics about the users +1 activities
and forward these to its users and partners, e.g. publishers, advertisers
or linked websites.
